This Made my Day...

If you follow my blog long enough, you would know how much I adore Jellybean. Jelly bean is a local store here in the Philippines that sells trendy, cute, vintage-inspired outfits. Their quaint little stores all over the country resembles that of a girls utimate dream closet - cozy and arranged accordingly for easy navigation.

Yesterday classes were suspended again and what better way for me to spend the entire day than to stay in front of my laptop and internet all day. I was on facebook and decided to browse Jellybean's fanpage. And to my surprise, this is what I saw...

I was featured as their blog of the week! This is another one of those moments wherein I literally jumped in joy! You have no idea how much this means to be featured by one of my favorite brands. Thank you Jellybean! This really made my day...and until now I can't stop smiling. :D

If you do have time please click on the picture and like it on facebook. It would mean the world to me. Thank you in advance! :D

Lazy Rainy Outfit + Blog Award

Yet another typhoon hit the country and classes were suspended! Yippee! It might have been really nice if I don't have homeworks and other stuff going on. For such a weather, I prefer something short rather than jeans or anything long. Who says you can't wear shorts on rainy days? This is a very random outfit that kept me cozy and comfortable and still cute (I hope!) at the same time. :)

[pullover: Mossimo | shorts: bazaar | shoes: Just G | cross necklace: Ebay | watch: Anne Klein]

I really like wearing anything oversized when I am in school. It's really comfortable and helps move in many different ways. :)

Nautical Ballerina

Today, I reunited with my best friend. Haha! It's been a long while since we last saw each other. She's in Law school now so I really can't blame her for not having much time to socialize. We didn't get to take pictures today because all she wanted to do was to shop. That's why we're best freinds...we both love to shop.

[bodycon dress used as a top: H&M | ballerina skirt: Jellybean | booties: S.O. Fab! | quilted bag: thrifted | necklace: Accessorize]

I like mixing very feminine pieces such as this ballerina skirt with edgy pieces like the booties. It gives a very flirty ensemble a twist.

How did you spend your Sunday?
Hope you all had a blessed weekend. :)

Midi or Mini

I see a lot of people wearing midi skirts and maxi skirts right now. I'm so happy I never threw this midi skirt I got like 7 years ago I think from a thrift store in Baguio City. I used to really adore midi skirts but then I went to a mini skirt phase when I went back here in Manila. I was thinking of giving this skirt away a few months back and I'm so glad I hesitated coz they're so in right now. :)

Do you like the midi or the mini? :)

Shopaholic goes Shopping

What will a shopaholic do than to go shopping? This month and this year has probably the craziest sales I have ever expereinced here in the Philippines. Every store and mall I go to are on their mid-season sale. So, a shopaholic like me went to the bank and withdrew some money, waited patiently for my part-time job to pay me and went straight to the nearest mall currently holding some sale.

I personally love watching haul videos on youtube and haul posts on your respective blogs so I thought I would share my great sale finds this month. Some of the items posted here you might have already seen me wearing but I still posted them because they are a part of my sale purchases.

You all know I love Jellybean so much and this month they went on a 50% off all items sale so here are the things I bought from the store:

The next store I went to is Zara. I personally don't like spending a lot of money on clothes and Zara here in the Philippines can be very expensive. The store is on sale this month so I was able to purchase some clothes without me feeling guilty about purchasing their items.

Then, I went to Accessorize. I really love this store but again, they're too expensive for trendy jewelry. They are on a 50-70% off sale so I got these items for a sweet deal!

S.O. Fab is one store I go to for trendy and edgy shoes. I am so in-love with these booties!

And lastly, although these bangles weren't on sale I still bought them because aside from they're totally cute they're super affordable as well for only 50Php per set!

I really enjoy reading haul posts. It gives me an idea and things to lust for the next month. haha! For now, I am imposing a shopping ban on myself as I feel like I have purchased way too much stuff already. I hope to see your haul posts as well. See you on my next post! :)

A Splash of Color for a Gloomy Day

It was a gloomy day, and personally, I love it when the tropical climate of the Philippines turns into something like this. Some people exudes a gloomy attitude as well when the blue sky turns to gray. I, on the opposite, exude warmth and happiness. I like colder weather and it doesn't stop me from giving a splash of color to a weather like this.

[dress: from Bangkok | knitted sweater: thrifted | bag: thrifted | shoes: Jellybean]

I feel like I feature way too much stuff from Jellybean. I am not affiliated in any way to the company, I am just a fan. :)

Hope you have a great week! :)

Confessions: I've been Etude-ized!

I am one of those girls who checks the Etude House fanpage on facebook everyday for upcoming promos and contests. I've been a fan of Etude House since last year when the SM the Block branch opened (it's nearer to my place, hehe). I was first attracted to it because of the pink interiors and cute packaging plus, Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho together? Sweetest thing ever! The endorser is now Snadara Park..still love!
With make-up and skin care, I really don't like spending a lot of money. I would rather buy myself expensive shoes and clothes. Being the thrifty me, I got easily hooked on Etude House products. All products are made with the highest quality and standards without cutting a hole in your pocket. I am just super duper uber in love with Etude House! :)
L-R: Magic Tint Balm 02; Magic Tint Balm 04; Dear Darling Roll Roll Gloss 12; Dear Darling Roll Roll Gloss 09; Moon Crystal Power 2; Moon Crystal Power 5; 55 Kissful Tint Chou; Petite Darling RD103; Code B PK002; VIP Girl PK007
Yeah, you can tell I am addicted to lip products. Not so much on lipsticks as they feel really heavy on my lips but more on lipglosses and lip tints.
L-R: Lip and Eye Remover; Precious Mineral BB Cream for oily/combination skin; Miss Tangerin Cream Choux Blusher #3 Miss Berry; Baby Skin Base; Peach Cheek Blusher #4 Smile Peach; Dream on Pact #2

I don't have much face products as I only use bb cream, powder and blush on. I am low maintenance when it comes to my face. :)
L-R: AC Clinic Acne Foam Cleanser; AC Clinic Red Spot Balm, Mini Size U Pore Serum; Yogurt Peel Cleansing Foam in Mixed Fruits to brighten complexion

I am an avid fan of the AC clinic foam cleanser (read my review here) but not so much with the red spot balm. The mini suze u line is amazing! The yogurt peel made my skin softer although i don't think it did anything to my complexion
L-R: Nail polish in BL502; sharpener; Oh m' Eye Lash Volume & Long lash; Drawing Eye Brow 03; Easy Brow Pencil 1
at the back: Etude House Make-up Pouch

My Etude House Collection! Yehey! I am thinking of buying more lip products. Will update you about the newest addition to my collection if I do buy again. :)

What's your Etude House story?

Happy, Hippie Sunday

Hooray for my first outdoor shots! It was a fine sunday afternoon and we celebrated my friend's birthday. This outdoor shoot would not be possible if it weren't for the photography of my very dear friend Karen and the DSLR of the birthday girl, Yrish. We had so much fun doing this and actually, they have no idea I am posting these pics here in my blog! All credits goes to them.  Shot on location in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. I hope you enjoy my outfit! :)

[top: Jellybean | Jeans: Herbench | Shoes: Trunkshow | Headband and bracelet: Landmark | Shades: Jellybean]
My dramatic shot! haha! Pretending like I miss....the fish! :D
Paparazzi shot! hahaha! I had fun doing this shot. I feel like a hollywood actress with the paparazzi stealing some shots of me. :) And there's my PA, rose. :P
On my face:  Precious Mineral BB Cream; Drawing Eyebrow 03; Miss Tangerine Cream Choux Blusher #3; Magic Tint Balm 02 (everything from Etude House; I am such an addict!)

School again tomorrow! No high heels, just jeans and sneakers. I hate laboratory days!

See you on my next outfit post! :)
