I went out today to get a new NBI clearance for travel purposes. I am going on a vacation this Christmas! Hooray to that. I am really anxious and excited as to where we will be going. I can't wait! :) This is what I wore for today. I really don't like wearing jeans but I wanted to look appropriate and not too casual just to be safe since I am getting my NBI clearance at a government office.

Tips for getting an NBI clearance (for Philippine residents only)
- Come early. Since the NBI clearance can now only be applied at City Hall's and some Robinson's malls, I suggest you come really early. Even as early as 6AM you can already expect a long pile of people. If you want to finish early come early as well. There are hundreds of people applying each day so save yourself all the hassle and be among the early bird.
- Wear appropriate clothing. I was prevented from entering the vicinity twice already because I was wearing shorts both times. If you are uncomfortable with wearing jeans because the area is too hot, try leggings instead. Also, don;t forget to wear something with collars to look more appropriate. Other City Halls and Robinson's malls I believe are not that strict with the dress code so you can get away with wearing anything.
- Bring with you lots of patience. The long lines and the hot temperature can be very frustrating so equip yourself with lots of patience to help you get through the process.
- Don't forget to bring water and some snacks to keep you hydrated and combat the heat.
Have a blessed weekend everyone! :)
