Okay, in one of my posts earlier this year I said I was going to have a haircut. Well, I did. But it wasn't anything too dramatic of a change. In fact, I can't see any change at all! Before I went out to go to the salon I initially wanted short hair again. I miss how easy it is to manage short hair and how so much younger it made me look. But when I got to the salon I chickened out. I was not ready to part with my hair yet.
Most of my life (yep! ever since I was a little kid) I only had short hair. My grandma never liked long hair so she always had our mom take us to the salon and have really short hair (like boy-cut!). When I was in kindergarten I always sported the pixie cut which I hated because I look like a boy. But when I reached High School and especially in College, I had a change of heart. I would always have short hair.

I have learned to love short hair and I never wanted to grow my hair long back then. With the right cut, short hair can actually make you a lot younger (and cuter!) than you really are. But the last time I rebonded my hair I could not believe how long it was already. I was just not ready to part with my long hair yet. It took me almost two years (with some trims in between) to get to this length. Maybe during the summer I will get a shorter hair again, maybe.
