Product Review: Etude House Green Tea Cleansing Wipes

I told you I love green tea a lot! Another green tea post for all of you but for the skin. I've been using this Green Tea Cleansing Wipes from Etude House for about three months now so I guess it's time that I make a review about it.

I've been using their lip and eye remover for the longest time to remove my make up but I find that it somehow breaks me out so I looked for another makeup remover from the same brand that will give me skin benefits as well. I chose the Green Tea Cleansing Wipes mainly because green tea contains antioxidants that will keep my skin healthy.

The thing that I initially liked about this product is its scent. It has a refreshingly sweet scent which I really love. I like that it can really take of all the makeup and dirt on my face as even if I don't wash my face after and don't do my usual nightly skin care routine and just go straight to slumbermode I don't get breakouts when I wake up the next day. It's also very refreshing to my skin which is a plus point for me especially with the hot and humid climate here in the Philippines.

The only thing that I don't like about this is the fact that it gives my eye area a burning sensation. I don't think this product is designed for sensitive skin and sensitive areas as it gives off a burning sensation. Waterproof makeup is very stubborn to remove and this product did not deliver.

Pros:

  • Nice scent
  • Keeps your skin clean and removes all traces of dirt and makeup on your face
  • Refreshing feeling after using
  • One tissue is all you need to remove makeup and dirt on your entire face and neck area
Cons:
  • Burning sensation around the eye area
  • Cannot remove waterproof makeup
I think I will look for another makeup remover that will go easy on my eye area and can effectively remove waterproof makeup. But if you are looking for a nice cleanser that can really keep your face clean, this product can deliver.
