Walking Red Velvet

A few weekends ago, I went to the Fort to get my dose of Sonja's cupcakes. I do believe that their cupcakes are heavenly, delightful but very sinful with the huge icing on top. Red Velvet has got to be my all time favorite cupcake especially if it's topped with cream cheese frosting sprinkled with some cinnamon powder. This outfit is a tribute to all the red velvet cupcake lovers out there (although the resemblance in colors were unintended) :)

top: BCBG Max Azria | Shorts: Clothes for the Goddess | Shoes: Celine
I got this shorts from Clothes for the Goddess a few weeks ago. I must say I was a bit disappointed with it when it arrived. This was the second purchase I made from them and the first time I was really happy with what I bought so I didn't really expect to be disappointed with this one. I was looking for a paperbag, chiffon shorts for the longest time and when I saw it in their site I knew I had to get it immediately. But when I saw it in person it was not up to par with what I was expecting to see. The waist was gathered with chunky white garter which is super obvious since the material of the shorts is red and chiffon! It looked horrible because of the contrast in colors. But it was an expensive pair of shorts in my opinion and I have to get my money's worth so I will forever pair this shorts with a white top just so the garter and my top would blend together.

What's your favorite cupcake flavor? :)

  1. Lovely outfit. This style suits you perfectly! ^^

Love from the NaNa girls xoxo

  2. I love your look/ outfit here. I think it's very feminine. =)

  3. Love that this is red velvet inspired! :) Btw, what's great about Tricia's designs is that they can be worn out, too - not just to the beach. Just add shorts and they're effortlessly chic! :)
