The Philippines was once occupied by Spain for more than 300 years. Hence, the culture of the Philippines today was greatly influenced by the Spanish people; one of which is architecture. Most old houses you will find here today have Spanish aesthetics.
I have always admired old Spanish style houses here in the Philippines. There is just something about the architecture as well as the interiors that speak to me. So when I first heard about Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, I immediately made a promise to myself that I will make a visit before this year ends. I was smitten by so much history each house has to share and by the intricate & elaborate interiors. Each house is truly a masterpiece! I hope you enjoy this tour as much as I did. :)
