I am not going to deny that the start of this year is one hell of a ride for me. It was extremely stressful and exhausting for me. I had too many things on my plate and the tiniest details have made more irritable than ever. I am easily angered and I could never seem to get the amount of rest that I want. Needless to say, my stress hormones skyrocketed, which made me wonder if I am need of anger management. And yes, I was a total b*tch to most people lately (even to my mom).
Stress is something that we all have to deal with; it’s just part of everyday life! But it is our decision and our choice to succumb to it or manage it. Clearly, I succumbed to stress before I developed my strategies to reduce stress levels making me feel anxious and agitated all the time. But since I started doing the things I listed below, I feel more relaxed and happier. Although I still explode sometimes, at least my episodes decreased (and that is a good thing, right?).
