Stress 101: How I Relax and Reduce Stress

I am not going to deny that the start of this year is one hell of a ride for me. It was extremely stressful and exhausting for me. I had too many things on my plate and the tiniest details have made more irritable than ever. I am easily angered and I could never seem to get the amount of rest that I want. Needless to say, my stress hormones skyrocketed, which made me wonder if I am need of anger management. And yes, I was a total b*tch to most people lately (even to my mom).

Stress is something that we all have to deal with; it’s just part of everyday life! But it is our decision and our choice to succumb to it or manage it. Clearly, I succumbed to stress before I developed my strategies to reduce stress levels making me feel anxious and agitated all the time. But since I started doing the things I listed below, I feel more relaxed and happier. Although I still explode sometimes, at least my episodes decreased (and that is a good thing, right?).

The Path I Want to Take

We can never know what the future has in store for us. And it can get frustrating sometimes that we hardly have a clue about the future until we get there. This leaves many of us confused on which path to take to arrive at the future they want to have. But life unfolds itself little by little. No one can really know what their future will be (unless your a clairvoyant, perhaps?). We just have to wait and see if our decisions today will enable us to arrive at a future that we dream of having.

I graduated from college 3 years ago and in all honesty, up 'til now I am still a bit confused on which path I want to take. I feel like I have tried so many things already but nothing seems to be working for me. I am not getting any younger and I will have to settle for something really soon. But which path should I settle for? That I am still about to find out.
