There are so many things that I want to achieve in my life. I want to become successful in my own way. I want to become a legend and leave a lasting imprint in this world. But sometimes, the universe conspires to pull you down - crab mentality, as what other people may say. No matter how hard you try, no matter how much you struggle to reach your goals, there will always be crabs around you trying to pull you down. In such cases, continue to climb and shake off the painful pinch.
Crab mentality is an attitude that I hate the most. If my friends are doing great in achieving their dreams, I am always happy for them. They worked hard for it. They deserve it. But some people, they are exasperated when you succeed. That is something that I will never understand. I worked hard for my achievements. I did what I could to reach where I am. You don't have the right to take it away from it. You don't have the right to pull me down with you. I will continue to soar and reach my goals. I shall leave you be.
What to do when there are crabs around you trying to pull you down? Here's what I say:
- Calm down - it can be very infuriating to face the crabs around you. You can get very angry to the point that you can no longer contain it and you just want to explode. But really, the best thing for you to do is to calm down. Letting your emotions get the best of you may only lead to regretful results. Calm down and think before you act.
- Analyze who your real enemy is - sometimes those crabs are triggered by other crabs. This is why you should calm down first and analyze the situation. Find out who your real enemy is (or, it could just be you who thinks other people are trying to pull you down?).
- Use your weapons wisely - you will only lose if you confront them without any weapons. This is why you should calm down and analyze the situation. This will help you build weapons you can use against said crabs so you can take the necessary diplomatic actions. Do not fight without armors and do not release all your weapons in one battle. Use only what is necessary.
- Take the diplomatic route - confrontations aren't usually the best tactic when dealing with crabs. Take the diplomatic route when fighting and you can even earn the respect of other people.

I know this blog post contains a lot of negativity. And as I said in my previous post, I can feel many great things this year. Don't worry as said crabs are no longer part of my life. I have successfully shunned him/her/them away and hopefully, for good. I am still very much positive for what this year has in store for me. And hopefully, all of you feel the same way. :)
