Humans are insatiable. We always covet more. We can never seem to be satisfied. This is the mere reason why I believe the word satisfaction and contentment shouldn't exist. It should be eradicated from the dictionary. Sometimes this continuous craving for something more or something better is a good thing. But sometimes it becomes a hindrance for appreciation and gratitude.
I am someone who always strives to achieve more and attain better things in life. I have this unquenchable thirst for something better. I want to have a better life in the future. I want to be better at the things I do. I can never seem to be satisfied with myself and what life has to offer me. I want more.
I think of it as something positive as achieving greatness doesn't come with satisfaction. Though you may be achieving good results right now, that doesn't mean it will be the same in one or ten years. Innovation is necessary to keep up with the changing pace of people. In order for one to achieve something great, change is necessary. Greatness can only be achieved if you push yourself to do more. Greatness can only be attained if you aspire to do more.
I may be unsatisfied but that doesn't mean I am unhappy. I want to have more in life but I always try to see the brighter side of things. I don't look only in the negative but the positive as well. I always take everyday as a learning experience so I can do more and achieve more in the coming days. Sulking on your dissatisfaction will only lower your spirits. It can hinder you from pursuing greatness. Though you find your days unsatisfactory, always think of it as a learning experience; that tomorrow will be a better day and apply what you learned previously. Being dissatisfied doesn't mean you should be unhappy. You should take it as a motivation to think how you can improve and achieve satisfaction in the coming days.
