We spent our last day in Namsan Tower and some last minute shopping in Myeongdong. My mom and I decided not to enter the tower anymore as we basically already had a view of the city from the cable car. But going to the tower grounds is still highly recommended as there are various sights to see there and some souvenir shopping as well. It was very cold and windy at the grounds so we decided to stay there only for a few minutes. Though I love the cold weather, it was unbearable when the wind blows.
We also went to Insadong as it is one of my mom's favorite areas in Seoul. It is a traditional mixed with modern neighborhood that is full of artistic vibe. I am impressed at how well Korea was able to preserve their culture and tradition. It just shows how proud they are of where they came from and how their culture has affected their modern society. I wish more cities are like this: taking pride of their culture and heritage. Anyway, enjoy the pictures!
Great post!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice holiday and happy weekend!!

Thank you! I already followed you.
DeleteOmg! Seoul is one of the cities I'd like to visit. And I agree with you, Koreans make it to a point that their culture should be preserved and known all over the world and that's why I love Korea. Their culture is fresh and engaging :)
ReplyDeletePlease check out my latest post, too. I'd love to hear what you'll say :)

Yes. This is one of the reasons why I think they are progressing. They are proud of their culture and where they came from. I wish the Philippines would be like this too - not ashamed that we are Filipinos and of our history and culture.

It is very time consuming to take pictures, edit, upload and create articles and reply to every comment. But as they say if you enjoy it, it doesn't feel like work anymore.
