Travelogue: Haedong Yonggung Temple

Temple and palace hopping are must-do's when in Korea. The country is abundant in history and culture that a trip will not be complete without going to even just one. There are so many temples in Busan; I believe there are around 5 temples you can go to. But because we were here only for 4 days, we decided to go to just one and we chose Haedong Yonggung Temple. If you read articles or blog posts of a trip to Busan, Beomeosa Temple is always at the top of the "list of places" to visit. But comparing all the temples we can choose from, Haedong Yonggung Temple is I find the most unique from the rest. It is built on a cliff and overlooking the sea. I thought it would be an interesting temple to go to and we were not disappointed. If you want to know more about this temple, you can read it here.
