Heirloom

My mom has always taught me to invest my money on jewelry. Clothes and shoes will wear and tear easily but jewelry will stand the test of time. Gold and silver are both elements that increase in value over time. They are not like clothes and shoes that will be worthless after a few wears. If you are looking to give a really nice and meaningful vintage jewelry to someone special but don't know where you can find one, I suggest going to Invaluable. This is an online store that auctions vintage, rare, and hard to find items such as jewelry and art pieces. They have a wide range of products you can choose from up for bidding which you can fine on their jewelry page. Invaluable is a great online store to check out if you want to give a someone something meaningful and valuable that you won't find in malls/stores. If you have a pieces that you want to sell or appraise, you can contact them to find out how.

I am lucky both my mother and grandmother are jewelry collectors and they hand down a few pieces to me and my sister from time to time. One particular piece that stood out to me was this 18k gold ring with diamond that my grandmother gave me as a present for graduating college. This ring is sort of like an heirloom. This has been passed on to my grandmother and was then passed on to me. I love the classic cut and design of the ring. It can make my most casual outfit more classy and sophisticated. My grandmother is getting older by the day and I am really lucky she chose me to have this ring. It will always be a reminder to me that my grandmother is a person who is willing to give a piece of herself to me. You can find pieces like this and more with sentimental value on Invaluable.

What jewelry items do you have that have deep meaning and significance in your life?

  3. Seriously? I've had shown some of my outfits mostly summer now where I've photographed short sleeve.
If you really want to do a tattoo and if you know what you really want to do, so don't be afraid. The needle can't see it and the only thing I feel is the machine to shake! :D

Oh My God!!! So perfect photos and ring +.+

  7. To begin with, I am not really a fan of jewelry. But every time someone gives me something, I just can't help it but hold and stare it for minutes! There's something about jewelries that catch every girl's attention. Nice ring by the way! It's so cool to hear stories like passing something to the next generation and all :)

    1. I know how you feel. I used to not like jewelry but if it is gifted to me, you just can't help but be drawn to it. It is only now that I am older I started to realize its value and I think, the older you get the more attractive jewelry becomes. I don't know why.
