Sephora and Sasa Haul

I made a quick trip to Sephora and Sasa in KLCC Suria mall before heading back to our apartment during our last night in Kuala Lumpur. I didn't do much shopping there because we don't have enough time. We went to this particular mall because we were already hungry from all the walking we did that day and because we were waiting for dawn to see the lights of the Petronas Towers and KL Tower. There were so many Sephora shops around KL and I am so envious because we don't have that here in the Philippines. I wanted to go all out and purchase more but I had to restrain myself as I have another trip coming up. I had to cave in and be satisfied with the few things I got. If only money grows on trees, I might have purchase the entire Sephora store.

Benefit's How To Look The Best At Everything (Fair)
I've always been interested in Benefit products mainly because of the packaging. I thought they just look super cute and quirky. But on the other hand, they are quite expensive. We do have Benefit here in Manila but I've never went inside any of their stores because I know they will be expensive. Since I was already in Sephora I thought "why not?" I've always wanted to try Benefit so I thought since I am already spending a lot of money in Sephora anyway so why not. I bought the kit with primer, foundation, concealer and powder so I get to test more than one product at a lesser cost than purchasing all of it in full size each.

Clarisonic Sensitive Brushes
My parents went to the US recently and I begged my mom to buy me the Clarisonic Mia 1 (Mia 2 was way to expensive and she wouldn't say yes if I ask her to buy that one). But I didn't ask her to buy me spare brushes because I felt guilty already for asking her to buy me something expensive. So I decided to buy them in Sephora at KL. I got the sensitive brushes because my skin is sensitive especially since after having the Fractional CO2 laser treatment.

Legoland Mermaid Keychain
Not really from Sephora or Sasa but I thought I should include it because it was too cute!

Tarte Lip Butter in Coral Blossom and Watermelon
I really wanted to buy anything from Tarte. I have heard great reviews about the brand and the blush my sister gave me was beyond amazing! I was browsing through the aisle filled with Tarte products and I was almost to buy 2 blushes and then I saw the Lip Butters. The packaging was too cute and the product glides on smoothly on the lips. They aren't super pigmented but they give enough color to the lips to make it look naturally flushed. I love not only the packaging but also the quality of the products.

Urban Decay De Slick Makeup Setting Spray
I have heard so many good things about this setting spray so I said, "why not?"

Touch in Sol Pang Pang Sun Cutting Powder SPF 35
I was actually looking for 3CE in Sasa but I couldn't find it. I was just looking around testing different products and I encountered this. If you read my blog you know I am an avid fan of Korean products so when I saw this I was kinda skeptical. I have never heard of the brand and I've never seen it in my 3 trips to South Korea. But when I tested the product on my hands, the result was really good. It is a translucent powder and it looks perfect for my skin tone. It also feels velvety smooth. And the great thing about it is it has SPF 35 (always a plus).

Touch in Sol Corean Complexion Cream
This was placed beside the powder so I was thinking they are marketing it as a package. I've never tried CC cream before because I love my BB creams so much. But because a lot of people are saying great things about CC creams, I said again "why not?" I tested it also on my skin and it looked good. The result was luminous and bright skin - but the product was a bit too sticky. I bought it anyway because I love the results. I will put powder on top of it anyway so that should neutralize the texture.

I will review these products as I use them but after a few days of using, some are already becoming my favorite. But I will post a more detailed review when I have tried these for longer so I can be sure if I like them or not.
