What To Bring To A Kpop Concert

It's been more than 2 weeks now since I watched the BigBang Made Tour concert and until today, I still have major PCD. If I can relive those moments again, I will. BigBang was just really amazing and everyone had a great time. It was my first Kpop concert and I wasn't fully prepared. I had work and other stuff going on so there was very little time for me to prepare anything. But I sure learned a lot from this experience and if I ever watch BigBang perform again, I know what to bring with me and I will be fully equipped to enjoy the experience more. If you are going to your first Kpop concert, here the things I found essential (aside from the mos important thing which is your ticket) so you can have a funner and more memorable experience:

You can never leave the house without a camera. You have to be able to take photos and videos during the concert so you can relive the moment anytime, anywhere. You have to take pictures of everyone singing and dancing to their favorite songs. You have to be able to take pictures and videos of your biases. You just have to preserve those memories. You don't need a fancy and high definition camera. As long as it can take pictures and videos that you can browse and watch later on and reminisce, that should be okay. I brought with me a digital camera and my mobile phone and I swear both memory cards were full after the concert. I didn't video the entire concert but  was taking lots of videos and pictures that I didn't realize my 8GB memory card on my camera and my 2GB memory on my phone were all consumer - just for that night.

Light Stick
If you are a real fan, you know how important these light sticks are. It makes the whole concert venue alive. I thought I will be able to buy the official light stick during the event so I didn't bother buying one prior to the concert. Also, I was told by my concert buddy that buying on the day of the event would be cheaper than buying the official one. But when we got there, we could only find those crown headbands. I wanted the official crown light stick as pictured above but they weren't available on the venue of the concert. I should have bought days before at the official store. But the crown headband was okay. I bought the GD one even if my bias is actually Taeyang. I don't know why but the GD one seemed more attractive than the Taeyang one.

Dancing Shoes
You will be standing and dancing for hours. Wearing high heels and even ballet flats are not advisable because they will hurt and cause blisters to your feet. Your seatmate will be doing the same thing. And because both of you are so high from dancing and singing, you can't see where you both are stepping on anymore. You might be stepping on each other's foot. If you are wearing the right dancing shoes like sneakers or rubber shoes, you are sure your feet are protected no matter how intense and crazy the dancing around you are. Aside from that, your feet will stay comfortable.

If you want to get noticed by your favorite oppa's you need a banner that will make you stand out. I didn't make one but lots of other concert goers did. Also, we were given a free banner we need to raise at the end of the concert by the concert organizers. But if you want a unique one and you want to stand out from the crowd, making your own with some witty statement is a good idea.

You will need lots and lots of energy. The concert lasted for 2 hours and 30 minutes and every performance had highlights that will make you want to stand and jump up and down. If you don't have enough energy, you won't enjoy the entire concert. Make sure you slept well the night before and that you had 3 full meals the entire day. Reserve your voice also because there will be lots of screaming and shouting at the concert.

I had so much fun during their concert and this is something that I will remember for the rest of my life. I sound so sentimental but what can I do; I am a fangirl after all. I wish they had performed longer but I guess they are humans too who get tired after 2 hours and 30 minutes. Every performance had a climax which made the entire concert one to remember. It was worth spending money for and worth my time.
