Travelogue: KL City Gallery

Sunglasses: Aldo | Dress: Topshop | Socks: H&M | Rubber Shoes: Adidas
Bag: from KL | Silver Dream Catcher Necklace: from Canada

We did not intend to pay a visit to KL City Gallery but we ended up doing so because we were looking for a place to cool down. It was scorching hot that day in Kuala Lumpur and after waiting for our turn to take a picture with the "I (heart) KL" sign, we could not resist the cool air conditioning offered by the gallery. We did not regret doing so. It may be an accident but we were glad we paid a visit. No pun intended but there was an admission fee for the gallery. If I remember correctly it was 20MR which then entitles you to 5RM cash voucher you can use in the gallery cafe. It was a good deal considering gallery cafes are usually expensive and because their sweets are delectable. We were also lucky to get a glimpse of the batik exhibit. My friend and I are both fond of this traditional print/pattern of Malaysia because of their intricacy and colorful detail. This is a highly recommended attraction within Merdeka Square. Getting there is also fairly easy. You can hop on the red line bus and get off at Masjid Negara then walk for about 5-10 minutes. Or you can get off at Dayabumi stop then cross the street. And the best thing about using this Go-KL bus is that it is free of charge!

I really had a great time in Kuala Lumpur and will want to go back if there is another chance. There are still so many places I haven't explored yet and the highlight of my trip will definitely be the food. I fell in love with Malaysia because it was able to satisfy my hungry stomach and my finicky taste.

My next travelogue post will be the last of my Malaysia trip and I can't wait to start posting about my trip to Japan!
