I've been etudized again recently (a term I coined years ago when the only makeup brand that would fit my budget is Etude House and the time when I was obsessed with it). I stopped purchasing from them for some time because I was not impressed with the quality. I guess my skin condition changed, my skin concerns changed, and my purchasing capacity changed. I tried other brands and was quite impressed that I thought I wouldn't go back. But over the holiday, if you watched my Korean Beauty Haul video, I just couldn't resist the buy 1 get 1 sale of Etude House. I was happy I made the visit and now I remember why I used to love this brand. It's all thanks to this Etude House Any Cushion Magic Mint.
If you have watched my Korean Beauty Haul I did mention there that this Etude House Any Cushion Magic Mint is not a BB Cream. You can categorize this more as a CC Cream or a makeup base. It doesn't help cover imperfections but it does help even out your skin tone and makes it smoother for when you apply BB cream or foundation after. I was impressed by how well it covered the redness of my face. Some spots are still quite visible but the overall effect on my face my quite impressive. I wouldn't wear this on its own though as it made me look ghastly white. I am already pale to begin with and this made me look even paler - like vampire pale. It really washed out the color on my face. Also, this is quite heavy and oily on the face. It only took a good 2 hours for my skin to start producing sebum. Other than those two reasons, I love how it diminished the appearance of redness and red spots on my face.
Pros:
- Easy to carry anywhere as it comes in compact form and with a sponge
- Evens out redness and red spots
- Nice light, powdery, floral scent
- Easy to blend and apply
Cons:
- Can make face really pale if worn alone
- It can easily make your face oily

I haven't heard about Etude before, but it seems like a good brand. This product seems really practical to carry around and pretty easy to apply.

I love the fact that it evens out red spots; though I'm not thrilled to hear that it can make skin oily. :/
