Product Review: Etude House Precious Mineral Magic Any Cushion Magic Peach

Ever since I discovered the wonders of using a makeup base/primer, I could not complete my daily makeup routine without it. I have been so reliant on makeup bases/primers that wearing makeup without it feels odd; like I’m naked or something. I love how they make makeup stick to your face like glue and the added glow and coverage it gives your skin.

I love green makeup primers/bases because they neutralise the redness of my face and blurs out the numerous acne scars I have. I haven’t tried pink or lavender makeup bases because green addresses my skin concerns. However, during the holidays, when Etude House was on sale, I just had to get a peach makeup base as well. I know how green works on my skin and I thought I might give another colour a try. After months of testing the Etude House Precious Mineral Magic Any Cushion Magic Peach, I will still go for green makeup bases/primers any time. I do like how it works but not as much as I like the Mint Magic one (which you can read here).

  • ·    Matches my skin tone very well
  • ·    Has a nice light scent
  • ·    Good SPF amount
  • ·    Has brightened my skin a little

  • ·    Makes my skin oily after a few hours of use
  • ·    Feels heavy on the skin
  • ·    No coverage (it is just a makeup base/primer and is not meant to be used as a foundation/BB cream)

Overall, I like the Etude House Precious Mineral Magic Any Cushion Peach Magic simply because it helps with makeup adhesion. But if given the choice, I would go for the Magic Mint any time. The latter may make my skin ghastly white but I like that it blurs out my skin imperfections. This one has a brightening effect but not as visible as I want it to be (I want or need more brightness in my life). I recommend the Etude House Precious Mineral Magic Any Cushion Magic Peach for people who want to even out their skin tone and for those who need a base that will make their makeup stay longer. But if you are looking for something else, there are many other primers you can try like the Banila Co Prime Primer (which is my all-time favorite) and the Etude House Precious Mineral Magic Any Cushion Magic Mint.

  1. Quite nice effect!
Really funny, in germany you try as hard as possbile to get brown and in asia its just the opposite! :)

Your blog is pretty cool! Would be so happy if you could follow each other :)
    xoxo, Colli

  2. This product sounds interesting. I have my own fave primer but I would give this a try. Kisses

This seems a pretty good product, love the brightening effect! :)

  4. I love etude products but only a few . I never find my kind of shade there .
    Love lip balms though .
New post on my blog . Do drop by soon <3

  5. I love the final result!

  6. Thanks! I like it too.

  7. Go! If you like that dewy, glowing skin this is a great product.

  8. I agree. Their products tend to carry only 2 shades which is kind of annoying because if you are in between or on the dark side, it will be difficult to find a product for you.

  9. You're welcome.

  10. That is my favorite thing about this product.

  11. It is! In Asia people are obsessed with skin brightening and lightening but in Europe and US people are obsessed with tanning! People really are insatiable.

  12. i've never tried any colored primer because they always make me so nervous! maybe I will have to give one a try!!
