And I'm back to shooting indoors because it's been raining quite frequently where I live (well, obviously because it is the rainy season). Also, pardon the very blurry photos I am not sure why my camera is so easily distracted by minuscule stuff around when there is actually a huge thing (pertaining to me) in front of it that demands its attention. Why won't you give me the focus that I need? It probably has the attention span as a 1-year-old just like me so who am I to reprimand it? Anyway, today's topic is something that is inspired by a colleague.
What is love?
According to Google it is "an intense feeling of deep affection" and "feel a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone."
According to another colleague it is "when you give time and attention to someone."
According to yours truly it is "a feeling that can't be defined."
Love is something that should and can never be defined. It is subject to each person's perspective. When you feel you just feel it. Why should there be a definition? Only you will know when you are in-love or not. Just because someone gives you time and attention does not really mean that they love you. They might care about you but that doesn't mean they love you. When someone feels a strong sexual attachment to you that can mean they are attracted to you but that doesn't mean they love you.
Love is a feeling that just grows in your heart and something that you just feel. Words will never be enough to explain this feeling and this fondness for another person. And I for one believe that people should stop defining it and just allow their feelings to be. When the right time and the right person comes, you will just feel it and then you will know it is love. There is no concrete definition to love and there is no scientific explanation to the raging hormones. When love comes it just comes and you will be at a loss for words to define what you feel.
How would you define love?
