Mt. Fuji, Japan (Lake Kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Station)

As I mentioned in my previous posts, the area around Lake Kawaguchiko is a sight in itself. It has character and the surroundings just seem alive – like it came straight out of the Daddy Long Legs anime! This is one of my favorite parts of our trip (next to Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architecture Museum) though I am sad about not seeing Mt. Fuji.

  7. Sad that you didn't get to Mt Fuji but these photos are amazing. I loved living in Japan and your photos bring me back. I've been here, but can't remember this very well. I plan to return for the first time in years with my hubby who had never been, but if we don't have enough time, we may just convert other parts of Asia first. Japan deserves a couple of weeks exploration. :) Thanks for sharing these!

  13. What beautiful photos! That sucks you didn't get to see Mt. Fuji, but looks like you had a great little trip nonetheless. Cute outfit as well! I need to make a trip to Japan one of these days. I love all the ancient Japanese history and customs too. :)

  27. One of the things I really like about Japan. There is so much nature everywhere that gives a peaceful vibe.

  28. Sometimes I receive postcards from Japan (I'm a postcrossing fan) and the places are absolutely gorgeous, and the colors stunning.

  29. You should! It's not that hard to get a visa contrary to popular belief. Just comply with their requirements.

  38. I've been meaning to try postcrossing because it seems like a very interesting concept! I want to receive postcards from Europe and other continents! How was your experience?

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'm postcrossing for almost a month, since then I received 4 postcards from 3 different countries, japan, germany and netherland. It's funny meet different people across the world, seeing their country by their own eyes. I should try one day!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yes, I will! I hope to come across you there as well! It would be fun! :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Wow, that is not long enough! Definitely have to go back. My first trip there was 2 weeks long and was so rushed. I only got to see Osaka, Tokyo and Kyoto. I hope you had an amazing time!!
