Seoul, South Korea Haul Part 2 (Other Items: BIGBANG Light Stick, Marc Jacobs, etc.)

Aside from makeup and skincare items, I managed to snag a few other items as well from my recent trip to Korea. I only managed to get one fashion item because all the pieces stores were selling were for winter. I don't have any use for winter clothes if I am not going to a cold place as average temperature where I live is 30-31 degrees C. Coldest would be 26 degrees C - not enough cold for thick clothes and wool sweaters. And because we had limited baggage space/weight going home. The amount of cosmetics we bought plus our winter attire are already beyond the allowable space/weight for the check-in baggage. Adding more winter items is already out of the picture.

BIGBANG Light Stick - I was sad not to have one during their MADE concert last year. Since then I had set my mind to buy one next time I see one (but I wanted it to be authentic and original not some cheap copycat). Bought this at K.art in Lotte Fittin Mall Dongdaemun. I was looking for a BTS light stick too but the store does not carry them. Does any of you know where I can get an original Bangtan Bomb?

Velvet Skirt - you would have already seen this skirt here. I got this for only 10,000 won in Hongdae. This is the only non-winter fashion item that we saw. I don't really like spending much on trendy items so when I saw this skirt (and velvet is one of the trends this autumn/winter) I was in great delight. 10,000 won is about 430.00PHP which is already cheap especially for a skirt.

Marc Jacobs bag - this bag I got at Incheon International Airport. There were a lot of stores on sale at the airport but most of the stores are still super expensive for me (Fendi, Burberry, etc.). Marc Jacobs were having a 50% off sale on selected items and when I saw this bag I was blown away. I love the emerald shade and I don't own a bag of this color yet. Of all my bags, this would have to be the most expensive one yet.

These are all the non-cosmetics items that I bought in Korea. If it wasn't winter I think I would have bought even more fashion items than that velvet skirt and Marc Jacobs bag.

  18. I know! I can't stop staring at it! It surprisingly fits a lot despite its small size and flat shape. Yes, sometimes we need to reward ourselves with things that we want. Especially when we accomplish something or when there is a special ocassion.

  19. It is! The color and the shape is what attracted me. A whole day is not even enough when shopping for cosmetics and skincare in Korea! It is like paradise for cosmetics fans! And yes, I did have a wonderful time. I am thinking of going back soon.

  27. Thank you! Oh yes! BIGBANG is best kpop group ever! Surprisingly, the light stick isn't that expensive. I really thought it would be sold around 30,000-40,000 won but they only retail for 18,000 won!
