Seoul, South Korea (Garosugil)

Garosugil is one of those streets that's so charming that walking to the end of it feels melancholic. It has a distinct charm unlike the other streets I've seen in Seoul. It is quirky, a little quieter, and overall charming. It is lined with various local and international brands (such as Karl Lagerfeld pop-up store, 8ight Seconds, and that outlet store we went in that I don't remember the name) that you won't ordinarily see in other dense shopping area's in Seoul like Myeongdong and Hongdae. But of course, you will also see the popular ones like Stylenanda, Innisfree, and El Cube - all of which have prolific branches in Myeongdong and Hongdae. You can also find here some of the cutest theme cafes such as Line Cafe and Skinfood Cafe. If you are feeling something different and want to avoid the overcrowded areas of downtown Seoul, head over to Garosugil. You will find most of the same stores minus the crowd but plus the lovely trees the line the entire street.
